Well! That's it, the party's over and we have to wait another ten years for the next one!

It was good, but there are always things I wish I had done differently, danced less and talked more ( my feet were killing me all day Sunday) started earlier and finished earlier so that we could have sat and chatted over coffee and listened to some more karaoke renditions, a few of you had just got up the nerve when it was time to vacate the hall. Nevertheless, I had a really good time and hopefully you all did too. It was great to see so many familiar faces, some of you I hadn't seen for ages. It was a mini reunion! 

If you weren't there you will have missed my speech in which I thanked you for your part in the last ten years so here it is again for you!

I’ve had a great ten years. There have been some hilarious moments, some touching moments and some fantastic dancing. And I have made a whole lot of new friends. But I dont think I would still be doing this if I hadn’t had so much help and support from you.

I have made a list of all the things you do so that you know I have noticed them and that I appreciate them.

So thankyou for:

 

Packing and unpacking

Making tea and chair stacking

Turning up without fail to the classes each day

Running them for me while I’m away

Organising events, driving the bus

Spurring me on when I’m making a fuss

Inroducing new people, driving those with no cars
